They can't be stopped. They can be made fewer with tighter gun controls.

 

I don't know anything about the latest shooter but how would you have prevented the Vegas shooter from having weapons

 

Prevented? Who's to say what could have been prevented? I can only say what would have lessened his odds of having them. And those lesser odds would have applied to everyone else, too, making the incidences fewer.

 

The point you can't seem to grasp is that guns are easily obtainable no matter what laws are in effect.

 

They would be less obtainable if they were better regulated. Less obtainable means fewer incidents.

 

They would not be less obtainable. They might be harder to buy at a gun store but they still wouldn't be hard to find.

 

I didn't expect you to understand something logical.
