We won the game at the end of the 4th quarter by playing good D and running the football to run the clock out deny that why don't you.

Or, we could have kept scoring and we wouldn't have needed to recover and onside kick?

I am fairly certain Bama has 4 QB's on roster better than Bo Nix....

 

Yeah you are right had we played smart with 2nd and 1 on their 25 it wouldn't have come to that. Besides who do yo think we are? You think Auburn doesn't have great athletes? You think they are not a good football team? You think we are going to score 50 on everyone in the SEC? When we can beat Bama then I will say we have totally arrived.

Not saying that at all. You’re saying all of those things. I agree about Auburn being good, deserving credit, and having something to do with it, but you are completely avoiding any blame on play calling. Our RZ efficiency is suddenly atrocious. While the defenses we’re now facing have something that do with that, it’s not the whole story. We called four straight runs up the middle from inside the 5. That’s not been our MO all season, and it is playing into Auburn defense’s strength. While Auburn deserves credit in stopping us, and influence on that play calling, the OCs deserve criticism. Heck, we had 8 plays inside the 5 and came away with 3 points.

 

We were being secretive, not showing too much! You know, just like we do every year!

Exactly my point. We should have run more in this game. Our OC should have adjusted to that.

 

In 07 we were excited about the walkoff TD pass to D Byrd so why are we complaining when we knelt on it to run out the clock?
