Hell they still couldn't stop him and also everybody in the stadium could tell the ball was going if it got in the air.

Russell is not going to start. There is no question about it. They will both play though.

Russell will not start! Saban will be quick to give the hook to Randall, but he will start. That way, Russell isn't tight in practice about making his 1st start, his 1st start on the road, his 1st start against an SEC team, and his 1st start against an SEC team on the road.

I agree, Russell looks much better and will be a force to reckon w/, but this way his confidence is built slowly. Believe me, Saban knows what kind of talent he has w/ Russell and wants to bring him along the right way.

Randall will start and that will make it easier for Russell to come off the bench early in the game. Our D needs to be strong and hold AU early because we don't want to give Russelll the ball at Jordan-Hare already down. This will be a very tough game I think.

I agree with the above posts. I hope, and believe that Randall will hold firm and remain focussed (like how he did last night). Russell will also need to come into the Auburn game which should provide him valuable SEC experience. There's no doubt we are seeing the future quarterback on the rise. I don't think it's a good idea to throw him to the other tiger so quickly as a starter in his first SEC game.
It would be comforting if both quarterbacks stay consistent and compliment each other for this season. Love to see more of Matt Flynn to get him started.
