Twenty years here. When I arrived, Dalton Hilliard and Gary James were entering their sophomore years. The "big" hype on campus (football wise) was a seldom-used sophomore phenom, Parade All-American Quarterback named Jeff Wickersham. I remember hearing about how great he was and that he was much better than Allen Risher, but Risher started the year before because he was a senior. By the end of that year, you would rarely hear anyone refer to the phenom as "Wickersham". Instead, all you heard was "Wickersh!t". He had a pretty bad first year. By his senior year, he was "OK" but I don't think he ever lived up to his hype.
Good first day of school. Sorority chicks were out in full force. Saw the Pete "The Mullet Man" Dyakowski on campus today - on a sidenote he has to be the most recognizable student on campus, so many people have commented about "the football player with the mullet". Had a class with a football player, and also saw a couple of othe players. But by far the best part of the day was all the sorority hotties.
Guess I'm not having that problem. I'm taking education classes so I'm usually the only guy in class.
I'll be transferring up there probably next year to take ISDS. I'm at SLU now and they don't offer it.. just stupid comp science with programming (I hate programming).
ISDS required a couple of programming courses when I was in school. I hated programming when I was in college. I told myself that I never wanted to be stuck behind a computer all day looking at code. Then I graduated and looked around and the only good jobs I could find were programming jobs. So I decided that programming wasn't so bad after all
Not quite 20 yrs but close. When I arrived, the QB was Tommy Hodson. We had a decent yr that yr. I still remember the hotties on campus, that 1st week of school....pretty overwhelming for a 17 yr old freshman. ahhh, the memories
Well ISDS does have some programming, but its not centered on it. On the other hand, comp science is all programming.
