    Kids were going to die regardless of the weapon used. In fact, kids are murdered everyday. The ONLY reason we are talking about it now is because of the quantity. If it was 1 kid, there would be zero threads on this right now. Regardless of the gun used.

    Comparing the us to Syria for guns is crazy. Better to compare with a high gun ownership place without civil unrest like Sweden and Finland.

    Also owning a gun for self defense makes you less safe, not more safe.

    A better plan would be to move away from the ghetto. I live in New York and never once in my life I have been threatened by crime in any way. Crime isn't an issue for almost everyone who is sorta smart.
