I feel that Hawkins is not as talented as some if not most of last year's wide out group as well as this year's with carter and doucet. If he comes in, with all the recievers we currently have on the depth chart, there might be some transfers taking place in the next year or 2. What do yall think?

Of course you don't know how these kids will pan out, but just from sheer numbers of how they were ranked, this IS the best LSU recruiting class ever.

Hawkins could possibly switch to DB. He is very athletic and also played DB in high school.

I would say the number 2 class in history. Number 1 was the year we got Clayton, Spears, Hill, Wilkerson( 2001)...But, you really can't rank them until they've played. And by that measure, they could be the best.

I would agree with that. I think in a few years, the 2003 class will go down as the best. Just my feeling though.

Hawkins was not even on Lemming's Top 25 WR until he saw video of him midseason and he went on and on about him and moved him to #9. He is a great athelete that we could use somewhere. He wil be a Tiger.:geaux:
