Bill Cowher pretty much demanded that overtime be changed. What do you think? A whole quarter? Maybe a 10 or 12 minute quarter? I honestly like the way the College overtime is, if they would move the teams back to the 45 yard line. But i would be cool with a whole quarter instead of sudden death.

Cowherd makes me laugh sometimes because he is a pompous ass, but he is one to talk about how physical the game of football is, because he has played how many times?

and college should be from midfield if they are going to do it this way. not already be in fg range. i thought it was ok initially but it is pretty ridiculous after watching the 7 ot games over the years.

 

make it like college and either ensure two possessions starting with kickoffs or start each team at the 50.

i would love to know how many pro overtimes go past like 10 minutes. usually a team will score on their first possession whether they start with the ball or are punted to.
