The only thing I've seen on this---which alone, of course, doesn't mean it's in the works---is Southern Miss. USM is scheduled to play LSU in, I think, 2007, so it'd be a request to move up that game to this year. Also, in the new Conference USA, they have to be considered one of the top 2-3 teams each year (w/ Marshall and, for now, UTEP). This means they could/should finish, what, 8-3 at the worst? A non-conf of N. Tx, Az ST. and USM. I'll take it.
I thought I read in the rag or somewhere earlier in ther season that we had allready worked out home and away with OU. I don't, however, believe we would ever play them so late in the season.
What about SLU? Actually, we should stick USC in there. We could make sure they don't ride the panzy schedule to another NC game.
If Southern Miss is available, that would be an excellent game to schedule. As previously mentioned here too, I would also be open to setting up a home and home with Iowa.
