Race doesn't seem to be the qualifier in THIS instance. However, it does seem that a solid majority of these shootings are by young, white, shy men who can't seem to get laid.
No, I did not. We can discuss media attempts at segregation but sometimes, there are groups of people who self-identify.
It certainty was meant to terrorize a group of people not necessarily terrorism....if his motive was ideological then it would be considered terrorism, at least the conventional meaning that is.
It is and it should be. "In one classroom, he appeared to single out Christian students for killing, according to witness Anastasia Boylan. “He said, ‘Good, because you’re a Christian, you’re going to see God in just about one second,'” Boylan’s father, Stacy, told CNN, relaying his daughter’s account while she underwent surgery to treat a gunshot to her spine. “And then he shot and killed them.” Another account came from Autumn Vicari, who described to NBC News what her brother J.J. witnessed in the room where the shootings occurred. According to NBC: “Vicari said at one point the shooter told people to stand up before asking whether they were Christian or not. Vicari’s brother told her that anyone who responded ‘yes’ was shot in the head. If they said ‘other’ or didn’t answer, they were shot elsewhere in the body, usually the leg.” I will wait to see if the President reacts to this as he did to South Carolina. One sported a Confederate flag, the other an IRA flag. One targeted blacks, the other targeted christians. Both lived at home with their parents, mostly loners and social misfits. Both had a presence on social media and made their feelings/intentions known. We should be spending more time figuring out how to deal with mental health and identifying real threats on social media. Allegedly this idiot got encouragement from others in how to carry out his rampage. It's just a lot easier and gets a lot more attention when we blame the NRA.
