I give Miles credit for being so successful, but its beyond me how he has been so successful. This was a horrible job of coaching all year. He MUST hire an OC and give them the full reins. I hope Im wrong but I dont ever see LSU winning at the same level with him as coach. I think he has lost his magic here. He seems clueless out there. If I were Mingo, Montgomery, Reid, etc Id leave. Its not worth staying for this.
What worries me more than D guys leaving early is future O recruiting. What high school offensive player wants to play for this incompetent O staff?
There isn't a high school OC that couldn't do a better job than what LSU is putting on the field. Miles success is due to his great recruiting, Moffit and Chavis. LSU football is painful to watch because of the under use of available talent.
Even as a die hard LSU fan from the state Id have to reconsider. Its utterly a joke how they call plays. The OL needs better coaching as well. Theyre inconsistent. Although I do put a lot of that on play calling. As soon as LSU begins to establish an indentity they go to something else and ruin the rhythm. I sure hope Miles does make changes but I dont see that happening. I think he is on the downslide. Im just disgusted with him right now. If we go out and lose to a better team then fine. It happens, Im ok with that. Losing like this isnt.
