That's right, Arkansas is officially #19 on the bottom 25 list this week making them the #124 ranked team out of the 130 FBS football schools. Despite that, LSU needs to approach this game in a business like fashion and take care of business early and often. Set the tone, and break their spirit by halftime. Jeaux Burreaux continues to be the Heisman front runner leading the top team in the nation, our LSU Tigers, and will hopefully be done by halftime today giving some valuable PT for the likely future QB, Myles Brennan. The defense needs to show their mettle and begin putting it all together as we approach the end of the year in preparation for the SECCG and playoffs. Get healthy, but also get more technically proficient in manning positions and tackling. First and foremost, let's win the game and keep the boot where it belongs. Beyond that, it would be nice to have an impressive showing, get some valuable PT for backups while allowing others to heal. This game is hopefully coming at just the right time......just can't overlook them either! We comin'! Geaux Tigahs!!!
I just want to see the defense dominate. They are going to have to be a lot better than last week for the home stretch. If LSU is not up by 42-7 or 42-0 by halftime Oeaux is going to send Burrow back out to start the second half. I want to see Brennan actually running the real offense instead of keeping it on the ground the whole time he is in there.
Agreed. I will also say that Arky was a thorn in the side of Saban and Miles. It’s kind of nice to be looking at this game as sort of a break for once .....hopefully.
I want to see: --smart play and dominance in all phases of the game --no trash talk (work on how a championship team carries itself) --establishment/breaking of school records all over Tiger Stadium --high scoring* * Under CLM we'd put up 3 TDs and a FG then start Clock Management by the end of Q2, leave the door open in Q3-Q4 then require another TD and three goal-line stands to squeak the Win.
