    Maybe, also when he was coaching, baseball was something you did in south Louisiana to pass the time before football started.

    Given that you knew there was a Rod Dedeaux, and you generally know your shit, I was posting that for the others. I'd heard the name before but didn't know much about him. 5 national championships in a row is an incredible achievement in any sport.
