Good post, west coast. I firmly believe that when Saban's coaching career is over, he will reflect upon his days at LSU as the best in his life....
Hey, I got some pernts tonight. I wish to thank the responsible parties! :thumb:
I thought about that when I typed it out. The thing with Tedford though is that he toiled under Belotti at Oregon for a few years. He showed...
I believe Tedford is locked up at Cal, and I did hear him say that he doesn't want to coach anywhere else. ESPN thunks (dummies) that Erickson...
What he said was that he has always gone to programs with challenges that were not winning at the time. As an example, he hinted that LSU was in...
Thanks for stopping in. We appreciate the compassion. :)
Spurrier doesn't coach. He hires other people to coach.
It'll be hard to do. The Saban story will get a lot of press all week long. I can control what I write, but not what so many others will likely...
Actually, I do. Try being a Republican in Portland, OREGON. Very tough. :nope:
Entice me and I will contribute!
FWIW. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/columns/story?columnist=maisel_ivan&id=1953255 Among other things, the fans bear partial responsibility...
Hey, if you are giving out pernts, I could certainly use some. You know, increase my standing around here! ;)
A Republican in Boston, I love it! :thumb:
I really don't see what the big deal is? How can this be so important in your life that you are p*ssed off and have to announce your departure?...
That's a good point. he did the same thing up in Oregon with L.A. area players, but what he did do was coach what he had. And he did a damned...
I like Dennis Erickson. Great college coach, not really geared towards the NFL. The only problem with Erickson is that you can't keep him pinned...
I agree with that last statement. What should have happened, imo, is for Saban to hold the NFL off until the season was over. If WH wanted him...
I disagree. He can still be removed. I think he would have announced in BR or MIA that he was leaving had Skip denied him permission to coach...
That's true. The days of Bear Bryant are likely over. There are a couple of notable exceptions. Bobby Bowden immediately comes to mind....
In all fairness to Saban, I think he is going down there for the Dolphins PC to be introduced as the coach and answer some questions. That's it....
