That puts winds at 80-90 mph in Houston. 28.4N 93.0W 41 X X X 41 FREEPORT TX 15 9 1 X 25 ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE 917 MB, EYE DIAMETER 30 NM MAX SUSTAINED WINDS 120 KT WITH GUSTS TO 145 KT (WEAKENED) A direct hit on Freeport spares Houston. Even better would be a landing below Freeport around Port O'Connor that would put lesser winds in Houston. Good news is that it looks like Houston is gonna luck out!
