I lived in Wichita Falls for 9 years (2 hours west northwest of Dallas). There is no way on God's green earth I would live in Dallas. The weather sucks, the food sucks, and it takes you at least 30 minutes to go anywhere.
Your problem is that you lived in Wichita Falls! I would not live in Wichita Falls. You basically lived in Oklahoma.
