Our resume that year was BY FAR the best. We had beat several conference champions. We had also beat the most ranked teams (Final poll). Can't remember right off, I just remember defending it on a USC board.

Not to mention we won the facking game so apparently it was the other team that didn't belong there.

Gerry had good recruiting classes, but an above average amount were either ineligible or couldn't stay eligible. He took far too many recruiting risks and it showed. By the time he left the number of scholarship players was unusually low.

It was a fluke year, not lucky. Every BCS conference champion, except Ohio State finished with two losses.

I want to say at least 17 of the ones Saban inherited were drafted.

I think that every team except Kansas had 2 losses. That's a rare Season.

    1) Because Saban left.
    2) Because Miles loves us back.

What's that have to do with football. He can move in next door to you for the bromance. Saban went to Miami chasing a dream. You can't fault him for that. But you proved my point. The love fest isn't football related
