The Herschel Walker trade to the Vikings gave Jimmy Johnson the assets to build the Cowboys up to winning 3 superbowls in the 90's. To start with he got Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irving with picks he traded for.

 

So... anyone thinking, now that the 30th and final pick of the first round has passed, that some LSU players got some seriously horrible advise?

 

For Waters it was time. He is not going to get any taller no matter how long he stays in college. Pretty sure he knew he wasn't going to be picked in the first round.

Naz should have stayed one more season.

no, he was a free agent, but not for long.

being a late pick isnt great, you re stuck to one team. going undrafted is fine. antonia blakeny is in the league now and he played up through the g-league. the g-league is legit.

 

it depends on how much you like school. you can practine in the g league and have a real chance to get promoted. and the competition is better. i dont think naz necessarily should have come back.

 

Waters goes to Boston which is probably a good place for him. Brad Stevens can develop him.

 

Same deal every year regardless of the sport. I don't think its all horrible advice either. I think a lot of it is kids with egos that think they are better than they really are.
