Listen, I know this might sound crazy, but could the Mad Hatter be baiting Bama? Is it possible that this is his best fake ever???? He has made public his dislike of Bama/Saban and this f****** rivalry we have with them now. I know - I am just a sick optimist I guess
I think the rascal has intentionally lost to Bama the past two seasons just to set up this dramatic moment come Saturday.
Um I was obviously speaking of this season, Tusk. BTW - we gave them all they could handle in 2008 (27-21 in OT) and we all know that PP had TWO feet in bounds last year. We really don't need to go there do we? So I expect this years game to be a no-holds (or trick plays) barred grudge match.
I love a good conspiracy. But, Miles can't lay in the bushes, sort to speak, for Bama. There is a reason, when we chose to take our bye week.
Actually RS was recruited as a QB, he "changed" positions because it was obvious he wasn't going to get any reps at QB and wanted to "contribute" to the team sooner. Since he was recruited as a QB, might as well give him a chance as one, not like our passing game can get any worse.
I say put the two teams on their respective sidelines and let Saban and Miles meet in the Tiger Eye to bare knuckle it... winning coach gets the W for the game. I think Miles could kick the chit out of Saban.
He was listed as an Athlete. David Woodley...really! I said prosper like the the Mannings. I bye the other guys, forgot about most. I did not know Stabler was from the SEC.
He may have been listed as an Ath, but we recruited him as a QB... we were the only school to do so, hence the main reason he came here.
I heard he lost the Auburn game on purpose, so he can get his players to settle down and focus, and give Bama a false sense of security. :dis:
RS is not playing QB at LSU because THE COACHES said he cannot play QB, not the IN CROWD on this forum. HOWEVER, I do not trust the judgement of those who make offensive decisions at LSU. Based on the talent LSU has, you could not dream up a season where they have performed so poorly. How could playing RS in certain situations make anything worse? The answer is that it could not make it worse. In that context, there is no reason to not at least try it. Could he have a worse passing efficiency than JJ, who is at the absolute bottom of the NCAA statistics? I doubt it. The real reason: they don't have the ba**s to try it.
