I really didn't watch a replay and look at Hawk and Collins so I can't really speak on their individual performances but overall the offensive line was offensive.
About the only thing I saw that I liked was that La'el Collins was visibly upset on the goal line and was telling them to "Run behind me!" That was the only fire I saw out of any of them. I haven't been able to stomach looking at the replay. Without looking at the replay, all I can say is that they failed as a group. The only individual I can grade is Porter, who was treated like a bitch all night. I noticed that Miss State seemed to know he was a weak link. They were lining up Preston Smith (#91, their best pass rushing DE) directly over Porter on passing downs. He was whipping Porter pretty consistently and getting right in Jennings face with quick pressure. I have a feeling we were actually better off with Pocic at Center.
Ex exactly, there hasn't been one game this year where the OL was dominant! That's a stupid and laughable quote and I'd go as far as saying there's not one coach in all of football other than Les who would've said that after watching that game. I'm not Miles hating but sometimes you gotta cut the crap!
You and I watched the same game that's for sure. Completely agree on Porter, he was really the only one I saw get beat over and over again.
