One thing I see over and over is the attack on Chavis's scheme.

Does anyone else but me see the D for what it really is? Ark was freaking 3-13 on third downs. Ark was also held to 1 freaking TD in the second half.

    I mean, outside of:
    Nevis
    Sheppard
    PP
    Baker(who is not that good)
    Taylor(who has been hurt)
    Clay

Does anyone else realize that the rest of the 5 players are all very young?

I mean the rotations this season with all the freshman was unreal and in the SEC no less.

I see Chaivs get attacked on teams that require assignment football and if you watch the D vs those teams, I am sure you will see the following:

Seniors/playmakers playing there assignment.(Theres not to many but you will notice if you look)

    The youngsters taking the fakes/misdirections

This **** isnt hight school anymore and it is rare that we have seen such good play (ON D NO LESS) from FRESHMAN. Yea, they have all made mistakes, but all the freshman that have played are damn good and have a bright future here, Minus Hatcher. He is 100% lost.

The 4-3 works, but IMO we need some really good DE's to make it shine, also we need good corners and safeties.

All of this season we literally had to rely on NEVIS to have a break out game, if he did, you will notice that the D was shutting **** down. When Nevis is not having a insanely good game, the D is around average...

Games are won in the trenches and there has been a lack of PLAYERS on both sides for a few years. <<<<<this is key.............

It's very encouraging for me to see next year's D to be even better than this year.

We need to shore up the tackling... way too many stupid arm tackles and just flat out bad technique. And unless my eyes are just going from age it looks like we're not the same big conditioned team we've seen in the past. Do they still lift weights at LSU...
