Guys, this is tough. Gonna try though. This is in no particular order! 10. Jack Hunt saw him lay the wood to too many people. 9.Herb Tyler, I remeber some announcers talking about how Herb knew the pass was good. His long fingernails would click on the ball when he threw it. 8.Patrick Peterson- just a great all round athlete. Great representative for LSU 7.Jacob Hester- did was a baller! Plus he lives six houses down from me. 6.Honey Badger- heal up fast and strong! Bad ass player! 5.Michael Clayton his first catch I saw him make was a circus catch. No way I thought he would catch it. But, he did! 4.Tommy Hodson. Just a great LSU Quarterback. 3.Bert Jones - some of my first memories as a child are of my dad listening to games on the radio when he was QB. Dad said he was good. 2.Dalton Hilliard just a damn good running back! 1.Billy Cannon one word "Halloween"
#1 -- Jacob Hester -- the names below are also considered but are in no particular order. Patrick Peterson, Bert Jones, Michael Brooks, Alan Faneca, Dalton Hilliard, Tommy Hodson, Wendell Davis, Josh Reed, Kyle Williams, Tommy Banks, Brian Kinchen, Abram Booty, Stephen Peterman, Ron Sancho, Karl Dunbar, Anthony McFarland, Sammy Martin, and Donnie Jones (had to throw a kicker in there)
Josh Reed one of the most consistent football players that has ever played at LSU. Also Brady James, Kevin Faulk, Michael Clayton, Matt Mauck, Matt Flynn, Skyler Green, Devery Henderson, Patrick Peterson and my all time favorite Jacob Hester.
Yep, and I loved Brady James even more because I thought he was much better than Faulk a he made many more tackles at the los and wasn't nearly a heralded.
