Peyton Manning always comes off as a decent kind of guy. Maybe he is. I don't know. I used to know a guy back about the time when Peyton was just starting to make a big splash as a future Hall of Famer with the Colts. The guy had been on the Newman HS basketball team with Peyton and Randy Livingston. Maybe it was just him but he couldn't stand Peyton and talked about what an asshole he was. Of course a lot of people are assholes in high school and turn out to be good people later in life. I'll always have to admire what Peyton and Eli did in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina when they flew in a planeload of much needed emergency supplies and personally handed them out.

I just saw a tweet. Roger Goodell has declared that the Patriots Superbowl win is vacated. It never happened.
Daniel Tosh had a tweet about a week ago that said he hopes this Brady thing doesn't take away from how impossibly stupid Pete Carroll is. In addition to the SB, Pete Carroll's ego led to his USC team losing that game to the VY Horns. Also heard Ted Johnson mention recently that Carroll's bad decisions cost the Pats a playoff win during Johnson's rookie season (maybe against Kordell's Steelers?).
It's astounding to me how many former players and current players, athletes from all sports have come out against Tom Brady when they have all cheated at some point. It's like OJ Simpson being offended by someone killing someone else. This is haterism and hypocrisy.
the others do it too thing? this is a terrible argument unless you talk specifics of their wrongdoing. brady cheated. got caught. so hes a cheater and a liar. its a pretty big deal. just not quite as big if it was ryan tannehill since he doesnt play in super bowls. deflating the football gives him a pretty big advantage when visiting teams enter that cold weather stadium. not the greatest advantage but definitely a leg up. a great advantage would be filming their opponents practices the days before the game. history and precedent.
