    Man I'm giddy about our chances. After this crazy year, could we really sneak into the NC?!

    Don't get me wrong, we've played extremely well at certain positions. But I'd suspect that, after our offensive woes all year long, no one thought we'd even be this close.

    No, otherwise I wouldn't have taken about 3 hours to post that other thread. Plus it looks like he gave you the Cliff notes version of it.

    Jumping Boise without winning the SEC CG is the issue at hand. He dismissed it.

    I want to say that we have as much of a chance as a meteor killing both Auburn and Georgia's team next week. Then i remember 2007 actually happened.

    I agree. I know there's no rule against it, but I believe you need to win your conference for you to be eligible for the BCS title game. I realize that stacks the deck against us, but if not, I'd be a hypocrite because of how much I dogged UGA for bitching about it in '07.

    We have 4 weeks left to the season, people.

    We're not in the last week and everything has to all of a sudden come together.

    Anybody who follows college football knows 4 weeks is an eternity for things to remain the status quo. It just won't happen. Some crazy shyt is about to go down. Stay tuned.

    Unfortunately, I'd be 100% against LSU being in the National Championship game after not winning the SECCG. It's just not the way things should be.

    On the flipside, it would be further proof of how badly the BCS needs to go away.

    Again, I agree. If you'll remember again in '07, we needed about 4 things to happen for us to be eligible for the title game and everyone of them happened...on the very last day.

    in this situatojn id be against lsu in the nc too. lsu lost to auburn. if lsu had beaten auburn (or just not played as in some conferences) but not gone the seccg is when i think the lack of a conf championship is ok.

    There is no prerequisite for you to win your conference championship.
