Five straight games where he rushed for 120 yards or more. Thats an accomplishment. Wonder if anyone else has ever done that. 4 09/28 @ DAL W 26-24 1 1 21 121 5.8 31 0 2 14 7.0 10 0 -- -- 5 10/05 @ PHI W 23-17 1 1 29 145 5.0 27 1 2 13 6.5 9 0 -- -- 6 10/12 STL L 17-19 1 1 21 129 6.1 29 2 1 14 14.0 14 0 -- -- 7 10/19 CLE W 14-11 1 1 27 175 6.5 27 1 1 8 8.0 8 0 1 1 8 10/26 @ DET W 25-17 1 1 24 126 5.3 31 0 1 6 6.0 6 0 -- -- http://www.nfl.com/players/clintonportis/gamelogs?id=POR792942
Your kidding right? I've watched him almost every game this year and the best thing you can say is that he's learning on the job. The KC talk shows are calling him a bust. He is getting mowed down play after play and has the fewest tackles and fewest sacks on that bad D-Line. Nobody around KC would say he is playing well.
everytime I've watched, he held his own. I watched the Falcons game and the Broncos game and bits and pieces of last weekend's game. I never said he is a pro bowler. But I think Kansas City fans are just being greedy and are expecting too much of him, just because where he was drafted.
To that point, there are few few DT's who lead their DL in tackles and even fewer who lead their team in sacks.
he's about as good as Jay Cutler, right? Or Ciron Black in high school. Or about as good as LSU's 4.0 average-star recruiting class.
