Since the advent of NBATV, TNT's basketball coverage, NFL Network and now MLB TV, I find myself watching very little ESPN these days. They lost me the first time the Brett Favre bullshyt saga went down last offseason and they broadcasted it every waking moment. And of course all the T.O./Dallas junk that preceded that. I don't need ESPN anymore. I feel great about that. What about you?
see folks, this is akin to a crack addict telling himself he dont need no rock. get back to me when the season starts and the sec coverage/contract is in full force.
I don't watch sportscenter as much as I used to but I still watch a lot of ESPN. I don't have the hatred for ESPN that most on this board seem to have.
yes and meth heads dont smoke pot. give it up man. you will watch espn more than any other network come football season. at least for college. pti is a good show. all else is actual sporting events. and espnews. that still adds up to a lot.
Right now, maybe half an hour a day. During football season, every waking minute that I am not watching football.
yeah maybe it's the offseason but as an example, the MLBTV network has me watching them instead of Baseball Tonight, which I used to love dearly I think these other networks will cut off some viewership to ESPN I don't watch PTI or Around the Horn (especially). I like the guys on PTI but I just don't have a desire to switch to ESPN like I used to.
it depends on what you mean by ESPN watching? It has been many months since i have seen Sportcenter or any of the "news" shows on ESPN. I have watching all the soccer that ESPN has been running though.
Yes that is a lot of what I meant. I used to be a Sportscenter junkie and now I don't watch it at all. I don't watch ESPNews either. But yes, if they are broadcasting an event, that would be different. It's not like I will refuse to watch LSU on ESPN.
