we also had starting position of like the MSU 47. How many damn passing yards did you want him to have?
Offense: C The running game was a low ypc, grind it out, take time off the clock running game. The passing game still leaves a lot to be desired, but JJ didn't make many mistakes. Defense: B+ The defense played really well overall, but MSU was moving the ball pretty well when going no huddle and before that heinous excuse for a QB threw those picks. The other QB wasn't much better, but regardless, the defense took care of them both. They did pick up more yards on the ground than I would like to have seen. Special Teams: A+ Kick coverage was great, and PP was arguably robbed robbed. If not, they still played extremely well.
1st) suck on a terd. I big nasty one 2nd) 2 balls were dropped by shep, one that TT should have had. 3rd) coaching held the kid back. It was evident. if you didnt see it, you are either an old fart with bad eyes, or just blind! " Have a GREAT DAY!"
We had 300 return yards against NC. There is your A+ performance. Just because you do your job (of what is expected of you) in keeping your opponent from running back a big kick return does not equal an A+ performance. And even if you didn't like the penalty on the punt return, the refs are going to call that every damn time, even it it's just the slightest of nudges in the back. The block was not needed, and Hatcher should have easily realized that and let his man go.
I give it an A+ for the coverage, the punting, and the FGs made. If not for ST, it would be 14-7. ST put the game away, IMO. Even so, it was still A+, too.
