Tenuta wasn't working with nearly the same caliber of athletes BP was though they were both probably looking elsewhere. Don't fool yourself about Fresno though, they put up more points against aTm than Oklahoma did. What I want to know is how can an emptied roster FSU program in the dumps keep up with Kentucky and give them a run for it and we couldn't beat them with a got dam loaded roster?
FIRE Tenuta! I know we haven't hired him yet but lets fire him anyway. That way we send a message to all those other SOB coaches out there that we only accept perfection at LSU.
Hasn't seemed to hurt us so far, we're about to play for the national championship. Good assistants will always be hired away to jobs that are considered promotions, as long as Miles continues to replace them with very qualified replacements there is no big problem. It's better to hire a really good coach that may move on rather than an average one that stays forever. Miles has done an absolutely excellent job of hiring assistants so far and if he wants Tenuta over one of his current assistants I say welcome coach Tenuta.
Will we hear anything about Tenuta before the NC game? Miles had a quote a week back saying he had someone in mind and he would wait until their bowl game is over. Or did he say after all the bowl games? Dunno
I don't know for sure, but I think the chances of Miles doing anything to take attention away from the NC game are slim and none.
that had been my take all along.....no word until after our game so we don't take away from what Pelini is trying to accomplish....and that is to come up with a damn good game plan to stifle OSU's offense. I think any recruits who need to know who our DC will be will have word of it, but that's about it....and I'm not even sure those recruits will find out
