By reports, a car was on the wrong side of the road and hit him and his familes van. A t-bone accident in an intersection.

Wife and four children dead. Baby air-lifted to hospital and Siran is in critical condition.

He was/is one hell of a nice guy. Great memories on the football field as well.

That's horrible. Losing your own life is one thing, but when children are involved, it's that much worse. I'm sure he would gladly sacrifice his own life to bring his wife and children back. I hope this is a tragic accident and not a result of an impaired driver. If so, God help the person who caused the wreck.

He was one of those players I was embarrassed about when he got out of college because he had an anger issue. Later on in his life, mainly due to fatherhood, he settled down quite a bit. Dual personality, to say the least, in his playing days.

He was with Bama in the late 80's, early 90's and one of the most exciting RB's on the field.

The accident last year left two people dead. Now this one with 5 killed...geez, what a burden to carry.

That is absolutely horrible...very sad. I don't know how he'll survive such a loss. It would be beyond overwhelming.

I've had the priviledge of getting to know Siran Stacey and hung out with him a couple of times in Biloxi. He's a super nice guy....a very good man. I pray to God that he and his child survive and pull through. I pray that when he does pull through that God can help him cope with his losses. Anything can happen to anyone at anytime. This should be a reminder for all of us to tell your loved ones every single day that you love them. Please, everyone, pray for Siran and his family.

His uncle said about an hour ago that he's been upgraded to stable condition.
