I believe there were three SEC schools that were offering him early on; Vandy, Bama, and UK. As I recall Bama was trying to get him to camp one summer, had an in-home with him at the end of the spring, but he committed to OSU in May or June. I also believe he only had one OV--to OSU.

My expectations are high, probably unrealistically. If he tanks I’ll probably drop O pretty quick. My optimism is taking some hits with reports out of fall camp, but it’s still there. Still losing the PR battle, like everyday.

My expectation is, it's better to have LSU football to watch on Saturday than not.

    Huh?

LSU was out recruited for Surtain. Job security for Corey Raymond was the deciding factor among a thousand benefits each school offered.

I'm not sure how I'm delusional about that. l am very much aware LSU loses battles, games and more. We lost Joe McKnight to USC back in the day. It happens. I think you're the one desperate here to cast the right light on the curcumstances, not I.

Les was a great guy, but he had his issues with doing things the right way. I b think back to Reuben Randle and his recruitment. These guys have to win. You're truly foolish if you think they don't ever blur lines to accomplish goals. Sometimes the right way and continuing to win at the top are diametrically opposed. Surely you can stipulate to that?

Some things occasionally give. Nick did it whilst here.. don't be naive nor expect us to be, Terry. You have an agenda, clearly. You used to be more to the median. It's a shame to see you so far off that mark.

Like the amount of money LSU can offer a player vs. The amount the gumps can.

Sure Satan is a great coach but that didnt come cheap. Once he got his 2nd title it was all downhill, the 3rd just greased the rails.

If Barry Switzer was buying double wides for Mrs. Dupree back in the day why in the hell would anyone think anything has changed.
