Of course not. But calling for six starters to be benched when we have no one better to replace them is awfully short-sighted don't you think? Chavis has to train up the guys he has, not put in raw freshmen that are going to make rookie mistakes that will be exploited by every team we face from here on.

You have no case at all. You want top play guys who have not seen the field at this point in the season. Are you insane?

5 games in you have to think about the future. If they don't get it now, start who you plan to build around.

But thats just happened with seasoned guys, did you see Eugene, Martin, Mills, Welter and Loston blow at least 4 coverages resulting in scores last week.
Chavis has played raw freshmen, White, Robinson, Beckwith, etc.....

I'm not ready to blow off this season just yet. We are ranked in the top-10.

I dont think he is saying blow the season. I think he is saying lets see what younger guys can do because older guys with experience are really screwing up.

And have any of them shown the kind of stuff that would make CHavis want to start them and go with them the rest of the season. Not yet. Their time is coming, be patient.

I saw Welter in week 1 against TCU and knew we had big issues at MLB. Beckwith should have been out there ironing out all his issues in the 3 easy games vs OOC and Auburn, getting prepared for Georgia.

We are way too small in the front 7. Beckwith would have given us a thumper. A badly needed thumper.

Welter is slow, small, has no instincts, and not very bright. That is one helluva bad combination as a defensive player.
