Chris Carter is one of the best in the business imo.

I remember a blog a year or so ago (which i couldnt find) that told of a change going through ESPN where they were trying to get rid of the "shouters" and get more objective people, like Jay Bilas. Hopefully the changes continue -- thus the cancellation of most Seven A. Smith things a the less showings of Salisbury/Clayton shouting matches.

Could not agree more. Have you heard his radio show? I did... for about 5 seconds. Just awful.

I actually liked him when he was just a reporter from a Philly newspaper that they had on occasionally to discuss the NBA. But the more air time he got, the more obnoxious he became.

i liked carter a ton on inside the nfl but i heard it costs hbo over 9 mill a yr to produce which is pretty crazy but the show was unique and liked by everyone it seemed. i suppose nfl network will pick it up to try and legitimize itself.

clayton busts his ass at the combine from everything i read each year . literally running from events to film his espn stuff as it happens plus a million other things.

he knows his stuff even though hes an alien.

regarding screaming a. smith--holla at ya boy.

hes terrible, obviously, but funny to laugh at.

he said he was changing his pick in the west and no longer going with denver.

love them nba experts i tell ya.

That is a great show and I assume it will be picked up.

The guy is awkward as hell but if great at what he does.

    He hates Brett Favre.

Seriously, he might as well hate steak and lazy boys.

thats exactly what that means. he went from being an unknown with no ego to becoming a nobody who thinks hes actually as big as the nfl.

time to become a backup again, sean.

I can't listen to a single second of SAS, hope he's next. I think Beano Cook would be an excellent replacement for Salisbury, it would be an upgrade. Plus Beano's cell phone doesn't have a camera.

Oh I can't wait for Racist A Smith's salute to black history month today...

A full two hours of 'hate whitey' rhetoric.

No comment on his firing but Sean has been battling skin cancer.

And John Clayton is an alien.
