Income is income. Why does risk matter in ones income? How is the economic outcome different other than that the rich make out like bandits? In an unfair system, unfairness abounds. Why should taxes be tied to anything except paying the expenses of government? Why do you need incentives to do what you are going to do anyway? I will spend the money just as well as you. Why do I get taxed more than you? This makes no sense. Do you imagine that single people don't spend money, too? This makes no sense. I explained this already to you. Look up "tax subsidy definition" and you will find that it is a very real thing and that you are misinformed.
The apple is indigents taking my tax dollars and using it to buy booze, gamble and pork skanks. Why should I have to subsizize them. Half of American wage earners don't pay a dime so, no, not everybody pays to support them. I should be able to opt out of paying the percentage of tax money that goes to child rearing programs.
Then I should be able to opt of of the tax money that subsidizes ExxonMobile, the most profitable corporation in the world. It gets complicated fast, doesn't it?
That would work too. We should opt out of anything that the Constitution did not specifically intend for government to do. I'm opting out of Obamacare too.
I'd also like to opt out of Social Security and Medicare. That would be a 8%+ raise in my paycheck. I can spend that money to better myself much better than the government ever could do.
Everybody would opt out of everything optional and the government would become ineffective and we surrender our Superpower status to personal greed. Dream on . . .
Yeah, everyone would opt out, and government would become smaller and less of a burden on the country. You really think that if social security, medicare, and obamacare went away, all of our nuclear weapons, our vast navy and air force, all of our soldiers would just disappear? How does massive government taxes and waste on unnecessary social programs = superpower?
So, you're assuming they are effective now? And I don't really advocate that. I was just pointing out the absurdity of you questioning whether you should have to subsidize taxpayers with children.
Why do you hate America? I am the Minister of Disobliging Absurdity and I object, sir. We should give the children to Exxon and keep the money for mayhem and debauchery, while we're still able. I have been drinking 90-proof Happy Hour whiskey, I should tell you this. I may revise the model in the morning when the data is clearer.
