Would getting rid of Steele after one year make things worse or better on defense?

In my opinion, it's feasible and would make the defense better. That is of course, provided we get someone in here that is a decent DC. I never was crazy about Steele or anything he's accomplished.

Get the Mizzou DC. Seems like he recruits well and they had a good defense this year.

I say fire Steele, promote O to the DC position, and let him make the calls on who they recruit for defense, and let him concentrate on the DL and schemes. O knows defense, that's evident by the improved D line play.

Coach O can recruit so can Steele. Coach O is a way better fundamental teacher of skills than Steele.
