It sounded like he was talking about garbage time to me. I'd be interested in seeing a healthy dose the next few weeks to see if he can make reads, get rid of the ball quick and accurate, and not play scared. Seems like a lot to expect from a true freshman, but I'm not a fan of the chose your QB and die with him that Miles employed.

 

Oh no Oeaux has been wanting to get Brennan running this show since he got here. His comments are often very telling about how close the competition is how strong Brennans arm is etc. It's not gonna take much for Oeaux to make the switch.

 

J Lee is the exact moment when Lesticles became afraid of the QB position: 17 TD's, 6 to the wrong team. I don't ever recall a QB having a pick 6 problem. Lesticles sphincter tightened up tight as a tack after J Lee's Freshman season, and so began Lesticles' fear of the QB. (I actually believe our QB woes began when Perriloux was booted from the team, thus throwing LSU into a tailspin of starting QB's before they were ready). Not to mention J Lee became great at curling up in the fetal position under pressure, which is another reason Brennan would have gained nothing from PT against MSU, but he has got to get meaningful reps the next two games. He has an arm and skill set other teams may respect (If he can show it), whereas Etling scares no one.
