Y'all still happy with the limited pass attempts in the first two games?

I agree. As long as we're moving in the right direction. Still too early to tell and if as fans we wanted Coach O fired after 1 loss then we never should have hired him.

I think the fans who are expressing their displeasure right now (myself heavily) are the ones who didn't like the hire to begin with. And if most of them are like me, we felt it was a bad hire deep in our guts day 1. We didn't say much in the offseason because we turn off football in the offseason. That and we didn't want to piss in people's cheerios. I actually spent the off season telling others to give the guy a chance.

Here I am pissed off after 1 loss and using the old school line of "it's not that we lost, it's how we lost". I'm very upset with myself right now for feeling this way too.

I apologize to the Tiger faithful for all that said, and as negative as it may sound, I want you all to know that for every snap of LSU football Coach O is our coach, I'll support him. But I won't be any less critical of our (his) teams performance than I am of every other coach we've had.

Geaux Tigers. I'm over the Cowbells, let's Geaux drink some fresh squeezed orange juice!

I was very critical of Miles at different points in his tenure so I understand where you're coming from. Unless Eaux resigns I doubt he'll be going anywhere for a few years. I'm hoping for the best.

Can't open up the playbook if you have no offensive line. Can't open up the playbook if you can't run. You can't just go five wide and expect things to change. There has to be something to build off on and it usually starts with the run. Just look at last nights game between Atlanta and Green Bay. Atlanta had a ton of success running the football which in turn opened up the passing lanes because safeties and line backers were forced to account for the run.

I've heard this several times and I just shake my head. Mauck and Flynn were MUCH more physically gifted than Etling. Both played in the NFL. Yes, they didn't have great careers, but Etling doesn't have the physical tools to even be invited to a training camp, IMO.

Also, the one thing that I do know after watching all 3 is that Mauck and Flynn could handle pressure. Every time we've seen Etling face any kind of pressure, he's clueless. He's Jarrett Lee without the arm talent.

I say get Brennan ready to go. Putting off his development so we can make the Belk Bowl is a waste of time.

Not trying to make the Belk Bowl, trying not to ruin yet another QB.

If he gets "ruined" he's not our QB anyway. I don't believe Jarrett Lee or Jordan Jefferson or Brandon Harris were "ruined." I believe they couldn't play. They couldn't handle the pressure.

I think handling of young qb's makes a difference. Too much data indicates this is so.

Its like Tirk said, if your O-Line is weak, try and hide them by using a short quick passing game. We don't even attempt that. We used the Chattanooga game to throw deep balls and run up stats. Our offense in that game looked the same as mine does when I play my nephews in Madden.

Not sure what you're arguing most of the time. I said they weren't great. And they weren't.
