Xm radio had a bcs bowl coverage station that had among other things a taligate party that started about 4 days before the championship game.It is down to about 1 or 2 hours a day with some repeats as they wrap up the college football season. A couple of interesting comments I heard yesterday. 1} one of the reporters was talking to sec coaches about the LSU defense.He talked to each seperately,and 2 of the coaches made the same comment."9 of the 11 players on LSU's defense will overwhelm you physically." then the reporter says "so then do you attack the other 2 players" The coaches both responded with " well,not exactly.The other 2 players are the smartest players on the field and they have enough athletic ability to make plays because of their heads.Beckwith and Steltz are always in the right place at the right time." 2] One of the Ohio State offensive coaches was watching the LSU defensive line warm up prior to the game.As he saw them he says he thought to himself "Wow,they are awesome .How are we gonna gain a yard against those guys." Then he says he kinda snapped himself back to reality and remembered he had a top ten team. Also, I dont have a copy of the game ,but at halftime I could have sworn when Urban Meyer was telling the viewers what LSU should do to start the second half,That he said "WE" ..As in WE{LSU} need to .... Anybody else hear that?
I don't know what I heard .I wish I had a copy to see what he did say that I could have thought that.I was at my computer reading the game thread and turned around to hear the rest of his comments after i misheard that..thanks
