Of course that is what they were doing. Pat White asked them what they should do and they told him. I dont see what the big deal is. That play didnt cost them the game like drama queen ESPN would want you to believe.
So exactly what was Stewart so angry about after he called timeout, if this was the "intended" end result? And he was livid.
I don't remember him being so mad. It did seem a little awkward when he did call the timeout, but for the reasons I gave earlier I believe they were planning on running just one last play. I'll try to watch it again and look for Stewart being mad...
From what I've heard,,,,,,,the upgrades promised by the powers at Wvu didn't happen. However, very little time passed. Would they have happened if RR have of pressured? Probobly. WVU DID NOT want to lose him. RR WANTED out. That's the general concensus.
Sorry Charlie, you may be the 2nd biggest LSU fan in West Virginia. Rich Rod was gone before the Pitt game. Thanks to him, LSU made the National Championship game last year. I know Bill Stewart personally. But I agree with you, he is way over his head. WVU should be 3-0.
From what I understand, Bill Stewart is a GREAT guy. I understand the players love him. But, I'm not sure of his control of this team and I agree, Wvu should be 3-0. Give him my love, he's been a great ac. But this is a little bigger than him. It's the same in Baton Rouge. I was born, raised, and graduated from LSU. There are NO prisoners. IT's win, or go home. And WVU should have won the last 3 games. And,,,,,,,,,,I AM the BIGGEST LSU fan living in West Virginia. However, I'll be the BIGGEST LSU fan living in Pennsylvania in October. I am being relocated by my company. I WILL be sitting in the cool lounge above the endzone when WVU plays Auburn in Morgantown. And,,,,,,,I'd love to see WVU KILL Auburn, but I don't think that's gonnna happen this year. But, I'll be there and rooting for WVU. View attachment 11352
I'm moving into a Huge old home in the Munhall area of Pittsburg, real close to the waterfront. I'll be a new resident by Oct 1st. It ain't Baton Rouge, but I intend to see some Steeler football.
