:geaux: He didn't just start to get recruited after his HS Football season ended. All the schools recruiting him have been doing so for quite a while so he has had MONTHS to compare and is not "confused". Looks like we'll have to agree to disagree on this one.:) :LSU231:

You really are out of the loop here. There are several posters on multiple sites with access to the kid's family or coaches and nothing you have stated is true.

Because schools have been recruiting him for the last two years, doesn't mean he stayed actively involved in it. Point of fact, he did very little until the end of his senior season, and that fact has been substantiated repeatedly from multiple sources.

Being recruited and bogging down on the process are 2 completely different things.

Why do you think the kid took so many unofficials too? A testament he was trying to keep attention away from himself. That is also why hes canceled so many official visits...

Don't know if you've noticed but one week hes going to this place then just decides not to go. He canceled a few visits to LSU but hes been here like 10x it seems like. Still hasn't taken a official but supposedly will. On a official you get a lot of love.

And btw guys, Songy just said its down to LSU/Miami, wtf?

    **edit**

said he saw it off ESPN ticker, well we know its not credible now lol

:geaux: I never said anything about RR "stringing" LSU along. I said, IMO, he already knows where he wants to go, not sayin' it and prolonging/milking the process 'till NSD. If the process is so exhausting, get it over with. As far as backlash because he hasn't declared in a particular timeframe, I think LSU's class will be fine whether RR comes to BR or not. Doesn't matter to me and if we don't get him it's not the end of the world as far as I'm concerned. Having said that, if he does come to LSU I'll enjoy watching him. :LSU231:

This is the one guy I wouldnt clasify as a pre-madonna. He has handle his fame very well. You have to damn near bug his house to get an interview out of him. He is very shy and thats just how some people deal with attention. Wherever he goes I wish him all the best, but I want him at LSU, no doubt about that.

Prima donna because he wants to make sure he is right about his college decision?

So what if a kid and his family savor the experience of being a sought-after recruit? This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that very few people ever get to enjoy. Why shouldn't he take as many visits to as many schools as he can legally do?

Some things in life are meant to be fun. I have to think this is one of them.

    Re: Rueben Randle

If you think his mind is already made up, what do you base that upon? And why should someone make a decision just to end a process, no matter how exhausting?

I will give you an example. When house hunting is considered to be one of the most annoying things in the world, do you just buy the first house you goto in order to get it over with? No you weigh the pros and cons. And most people agonize over decisions like what brand, size , and price of a tv to buy. This guy is wondering where to get an education and intern for a possible multi-million $ job in the NFL.

Every report from journalists, and people close to the family contradicts what you have said.

Yes, I have been told he knows where he wants to go for the most part. However, that does not mean he shouldn't make sure. Even if some fans think he is being selfish for some odd reason.

I for one think it is better for top prospects to wait until close to NSD with all the staff changes and players declaring for the draft only gives the prospect more information to make an informed decision. I would rather them wait it out instead of backing out later or taking official visits to other school while committed.

Relax and let the family make sure like most of us would want for our own son going through the same situation.
