:geaux: I don't think he's undecided and knows exactly where he wants to go, he's just not sayin' it yet, IMO. I'm not sure if he's a prima dona, but I definitely think he's one of those that milks the process for all it's worth. Likes the attention and drama. He's been recruited for a long time and it can't take this long to make up your mind. Just sayin'. :LSU231:

From what I have heard he has made up his mind for the most part but wants to make sure by comparing the schools one last time. That is the way to make a smart decision IMO. He hates attention and drama but will bear with it to make sure he is making the correct decision. Nothing wrong with that at all in my book.

:geaux: He's had months to compare, he already knows and it can't be that hard. Maybe his family likes the attention too. But if he really didn't like the attention and drama why prolong it? He likes being the big man on campus and will milk this 'till NSG probably, IMO. I think I'm starting to agree with Sabanfan.:hihi: :LSU231:

    Re: Rueben Randle

First off, to even put the Randle family or RR as the same category as Mcknight is unfair. Second off, how do you know the kid really is confused on where he wants to go? This is his most important decision in his life right now. Just because hes waited on his commitment doesn't mean hes enjoying it. Lastly, RR didn't fully take focus on his recruitment until his season was over as dedication to his team.

RR is not Mcknight. Totally different situation and unfair for the Randle family. By all accounts, hes a very shy kid who isn't enjoying the process. Posts like this are so dumb, the only thing it can do is force negative recruiting, why bother? Recruits/families do read the board you know. Especially when you don't even know what is going on in the situation, people just assume.

    Months???

The bulk of his recruiting process has started after his HS season. Every time we received an update from his coach or family they said RR is not thinking much about those things during the season and will wait till the season is over to clamp down and start comparing.

The info I am posting is coming from friends and family who have explained his personality to be the opposite of what many fans are thinking.

Exactly and this is the main reason RR and his dad decided to stay home and relax this past weekend instead of heading over to visit Auburn.

You have nothing to substantiate this and actually quite a bit of evidence to the contrary. I don't remember another recruit with so much access to the family through various sources. And all of them illustrate how exhausting this process really is. The fact that he has options, and is considering them instead of deciding based on emotion is pretty impressive to me. At no point has he or his family "strung us along".

I understand the desire people have for a certain recruit, and for him to declare on their(the fans) time frame, but why the backlash if they don't??

I am confused as to what Randle is allegedly milking? The guy has been a recluse. He's getting very little attention at all.

    J. Mitchell will be gone for next year, so we're going to have to rely on C. Mitchell and TT. I'll bet money right now if RR commits here, he'll be starting by mid-season opposite TT.

Contrary to belief, we're not hurting as bad as you guys think with Lafell gone. Peterson is a guy the staff can't stop raving about. Plus the additions of RR/Benton, both of which are ready now. The other Tolliver as a fast/quick slot receiver we're really lacking right now too.

I see it ending up like this by the end of the year:

    TT
    RR
    Mitchell
    Benton/Peterson(rotated)
    C. Tolliver(rotated for packages/slot)

I think Dixon is about ready to transfer.
