Is the Bradshaw part of that article true because I didn't have a clue about that? I just thought that part was interesting. I don't think hes pushing RR to Bama like some claim either. Don't know him personally though, sure someone from Bastrop can tell me what type of guy hes like.

It didn't worry me at all. I didn't get the vibe that Bradshaw was pushing him anywhere.

He'll be in P&G. Sooner than we think I hope. :thumb:

Coach Bradshaw is not very involved with his recruitment. RR's family has taken that role from the beginning. Bradshaw is the easiest one to get in contact with however in regards to RR so they make stories out of it the best they can. Bradshaw doesn't have the pull to push RR one way or the other if he wanted to IMO.

What is really sad is the recruiting board was a very good place to post until about 5 months ago. Eventually it go overrun by the rantards and now its to the point where the only thing it can do, is cause more harm than good. They need to shut it down and I'm being serious. Go read the RR thread and all the personal attacks.

This is and the premium boards are the only safe place to post now.

That entire site is an embarrassment to LSU. What do you figure the average age of the posters over there is? It's got to be 13, 14 or 15.

I wish there was a way to verify ages so people would know who they're dealing with and reading. The LSU administration can't be thrilled with how that site portrays LSU as a whole. I know I'm not.

I am just curious...and really don't want to start an argument, but why do you think that Alabama doesn't have a chance with Rueben. The idea of early playing time and lining up across from the best wide receiver in the SEC Julio Jones is hard to turn down. Also, playing for Coach Nick Saban is a huge deal. I will not be surprised if he winds up at LSU, but I think we have a decent chance of bringing him to Tuscaloosa.

    Re: Rueben Randle

Welcome to the board, first and foremost.

We like the idea of quality rival posters, so stick around.

I don't believe it's so much that Bama can't get Randle, it's just that this is his home state and I think he wants to play for his home state university.

It would have been the same thing for Julio Jones last year had he been interested in LSU.

I will say this however, LSU's OC is very aggressive and likes to throw the ball around. LSU puts receivers in the NFL as good as anyone in the FBS. Saban is well known for being conservative in trying to win with a defense and run game type team structure. The passing game is not his primary focus, nor will it ever be.

    Advantage LSU.
