I know this was probably mentioned somewhere in the prior 680 posts, but how are RRs grades? I hear he is taking correspondence courses? Is this accurate?

I have never heard any reference to him having issues with grades.

if he's taking correspondence courses, it's just for his own benefit, not to assist him in passing his current courses...the guy I talked to last year at the Bastrop-Evangel game said RR is a 4.0 student.

izzy, a Bama guy I talked to tonight seems to think RR is a Bama lean, said that all gumps think that. quote "they won't be surprised if he does go to LSU but right now Bama leads." He claims a friend of his is good friends with RR's brother and that this is inside info. I have a hard time believing that Bama is truly ahead on RR. thoughts?

    Re: Rueben Randle

    From the N.Y. Times

Yet he seems most passionate about L.S.U., despite a popular recruiting knock being used against the Tigers these days. Some maintain that their Bowl Championship Series national title last season was a testament to Alabama Coach Nick Saban’s recruiting before he left L.S.U., rather than the coaching of Tigers Coach Les Miles. But don’t try telling Randle that.
He gushed about the prospect of playing for L.S.U., which rarely loses Louisiana recruits. “That’s my home state,” Randle said. “It’s a great school to go to. My opportunities there are great. I have a great chance of playing there. I have my family there to support me. They want to have much to do with coming to see me play. So it won’t be hard for them to travel there.”

Everybody seems to have inside information especially Alabama fans but this quote makes it sound like it's a done deal.

We got an average confidence level of nearly 80% by the holy recruiting trinity.

I would say that Bama was probably leading for a while, as he was not happy with our QB situation. However, LSU is in much better shape now.

BS. His brother would never tell anyone that. Cause local pressure on his brother? I highly doubt it. Hes made it pretty clear most of the rumors have no merit at all. With all the recent stuff coming out the past few weeks, he definitely seems like a LSU lean and it really became apparent when his season ended. That is when he really started his recruiting process.
