Well, a few things going on:

AJ Mcarron, the skinny 180lb, looks like a 12 year old QB, is probably going to take all officials at the exact places/time as RR. I think if anything, this is going to piss him off, especially from that dork.

    And

Appears RR might not be taking a official to LSU after all but will take one to Bama. This could change. You could see it as a major negative or a positive. Hes been to LSU many times, only a couple to Bama. I see it as a negative. How could you not schedule a official and enjoy yourself with all the baggage that comes with it, especially a school you want to attend? Plus, I keep going back to that Bama game where he was "bored/pissed". I know it was his brother that pissed him off but how can you be bored at a game like that and especially all the attention he was getting. Just don't know with this guy. I do like the fact Mingo is rooming with him though, I bet he lets something slip to him :hihi:

This guy has so much suspense, hes so hard to get a read on. Not even JJ was this secretive last year.

Randle gets told to go to LSU everyday:

Dec 28 -- While Randle's family is leaving the decision up to him, classmates and members of his community have their preference.

"Everyday somebody comes up to me and tells me to go to LSU," Randle said. "That is really where everyone here wants me to go. There is a dude that goes to school with me, he told me he would pay me if I go to LSU. It's crazy."

That dork is pretty damn good, 180lbs or not. Has a hell of an arm...

RR may want to play with him. From what I hear, they talk a lot, hence why his visits are at the same time.

Anything we (LSU and Bama fans alike) say is pretty much grasping out at this point. Tight lipped just doesn't describe it. There are going to be a lot of purple, gold, crimson and white on the edge of their seat when they start to air his presser.

Davenport talks to Randle at least 3 times a week:

"I am trying to help us get the best recruiting class possible," said the five-star defensive tackle from Mansfield, La.. "
    ...
"Hopefully we'll get a few more five-stars and a few more four-star players (to commit) and that will seal the deal. It would be great if we can seal the deal by getting Rueben Randle, Barkevious Mingo and William Campbell. I talk to Rueben at least three times a week, and I talked to William Campbell the other night. I am trying to tell them all the good things about LSU."

I just can't imagine Rueben going to 'Bama in a supporting role to Bama's favorite son, when he can come to LSU and be the STAR.:tigereye:

Here is the interview with McCarron:

At the 1:37 mark, they ask him if he is going to try and recruit Randle for Bama, and he laughs nervously and says: "agh, maybe a little, um, I might say a few things like "Roll Tide' or, uh, 'Go Bama' or something like that here and there, but, uh, I'm going to talk to him a little, and, uh, ah, I mean, I know all my buddies, um, my roommate DJ Fluker, I know we'll, uh, we'll probably team up and say something to him a couple times, but, uh, I mean, in the end he's got to make his decision, he's got to be happy where he's, ah, where he's going, but we'll definitely throw in a word."

He also says that DJ Fluker "might follow me and kill me" (at the 2:20 mark)

    Go get 'em McCarron!

    Re: Rueben Randle

If he's as good as everyone says he is, he wont be a supporting role player. Who do you guys have coming back? Are you saying that Julio is that much better than any WR on your roster? He's still going to have to earn it wherever he goes...

Lots of people were skeptical on how Julio would do since he was so highly touted...but he delievered as a TF. He may not even start at the school he goes to--and he may be much better than Julio was this season.

Dont'a Hightower was supposed to be the LB that would have to do some work to get some PT and Jarrell Harris was the big name that everyone thought would come in and pay asap. He played sparingly and Hightower locked up the starting position early in camp.

    Re: Rueben Randle

Returning expected contributors at WR: Brandon Lafell, Jared Mitchell, Chris Mitchell, Terrance Toliver, Chris Tolliver (redshirted). Of the group, only Lafell is as proven as Jones. Terrance has performed extremely well in a limited role, while Chris, although and unknown commodity, was one of the top receivers in the nation coming out of HS. Chris Mitchell also made some plays for us throughout the season. But with our QB situation this year, it was basically impossible for him, or anyone else, to really stand out. Of course, with the addition of Randle and/or Debose and Benton, some of the best potential may be yet untapped. So really, we're in very good shape one way or the other.

If he can even slightly pick up the offense, Randle will be the #3 receiver for the Tigers next year.

    Re: Rueben Randle

Julio has PROVEN to be an extreme upper crust WR. Nay, the Cherry on top of the pie.

It would be ludicrous for Rueben to go to 'Bama: he'd always be the stepchild, supporting Julio for most of his college career---Julio would always have seniority & homegrown.

Rueben, a Cherry on top of the pie WR, deserves his own Pie.
