With the way this class is shaping up we could lose RR and it not even matter. He could actually be the one on the outside looking in as we make a run for multiple National Championships.

I'm not worried one bit either way on RR anymore if he comes he comes and if he don't o well that will be his loss.

He knows where he's going. He's just playing it the way we would all play it. It's his guaranteed 15 minutes of fame. #1 player in the nation. No use shooting his load just yet.

I would have to agree with this. I think he knows he is coming to LSU.

Why say anything? Let it ride.

    Re: Rueben Randle

Well this adds up with this post I made a few months back:

"Spoke with a customer on the phone for a company I work for and she just happened to be from Bastrop.

Of course we went on and on about how good a team they have (#4 in the nation). And of course I had to bring up Randle. She spoke to Reuben's mom and had some info on his recruiting situation."

What I stopped short of saying is that the mother told this woman that her son was going to LSU.

    Mom loves her some LSU!

I understand the feeling alot of ya'll have that if RR doesn't come to LSU its his life and we will be fine. How many of ya'll actually believe this. I have to admit that if RR goes to Bama, I don't think we beat them as long as bot RR and JJ are playing WR there together. Just my thoughts.

If those are you thoughts, then you're not really thinking. We can beat Bama with those 2 or anyone. We have talent and coaching too.

They would be an awsome duo. That's why all the Alabama posters are drooling all over their keyboards when they post comments. Ruben Randle's role will be to take away double coverage from Julio. Ruben'll get his share of touches, but let me ask you, do you really think RR will be the number one "go to"guy there? I don't. I think with or without RR at Ala. Julio Jones will be a legit Heismann candidate and get all the promo.

Based on two players, we don't beat Bama for 3-4 years? Uh, I have to disagree with that one. While I want RR, if we get Debose, that is a pretty good swap out. And, irregardless of Debose, if RR signs with Bama, I think wins and losses in college football hinge on things like preparation, emotion, turnovers, special teams play, etc. I don't think two top wideouts = Alabama victories every year. What about RS and MFord on the same team, not to mention PPeterson and Janzen Jackson on defense together, and Tolliver and Debose at WR (assuming we get Debose), or KBell? Those are all pretty good tandems, too.
