If it was an official, he would have had current players as guides for a 3 or 4 day visit. Many other details but that is the gist of it. Sounds like he just went with his dad to see how the practices were run since he has not been there much. If I was a prospect, it would be very hard for me to pick a school I have only spent 1 or 2 days at compared to a school where I have spent 10 or more days. Can't go into details but from what I have gather over the last 3 days, LSU looks to be in the best shape we have been in so far.
Re: Rueben Randle Even after this article, there is still speculation from the Bama posters about if he was actually there. FWIW I am sure it will be cleared up by the end of the day if he was or not.

Re: Rueben Randle Yea I heard that too. Heard that he was in West Monroe. Waiting for Sonny to call his family. The guy who wrote the BOL article did not know for sure if it was him when he 1st reported the story and then said he got confirmation. So I assume he is going off the same kind of information we are. Maybe Terry can say if he was there or not???

The only thing I can add is the guy I talked to about practice yesterday said he saw him watching WR drills and RR was talking to Trent and Julio. Granted, he was a good two football fields (as in width) away but he wouldn't tell me he was there if he wasn't sure about it. B, I have no reason to believe he wasn't.
Re: Rueben Randle Just to add a thought... Sonny calling his family to verify where he was...that's not the thing to do with RR. I have told a few from this side "leave him the hell alone." If the BOL guys would have left Patrick alone last year that very well could have been a different story.
Re: Rueben Randle Not saying you were wrong or got bad info. Just hearing a lot of mixed info on the subject from people I hold in the same regard as yourself. Thanks for the input. If he was there or not doesn't change the info I have received on where he will end up. I would expect him to make a trip out there now that the season is over.
Re: Rueben Randle Sonny knows what to do in the RR case. RR and his family are really close with Sonny and he gets frequent calls from his father, weekly. He would not be calling just to get an update on his whereabouts. :thumb:
