Most assistants spend time coaching different positions at some time in their career. However, Cignetti was hired because of his recruiting abilities.

We wont be as good in the running game next year IMO...Similar, but not better.

We lose Travis McCall, Marlon Davis, Antoine Caldwell, and Andre Smith off the offensive line.

We will pass for over 200ypg next year....Our recievers are young and inexperienced. Our QB was prone to mistakes, so they cut down on the number of mistakes he could make--something the LSU staff should have looked into.

We have 1 season with less than 200ypg passing with JPW back there...think it was planned or maybe the senior WR's Caddell, Brown, and DJ Hall were gone and we were left with SO's and Fr running the routes.

I know that you're smarter than this islstl....

I don't believe Bama's offense beat LSU. In fact, I don't remember them doing anything special in that game.

LSU's QB situation cost us that game.

LSU would've loved to run non-stop but it's difficult when everyone stacks the line of scrimmage against you and your QB can't hit the target.

In fact, if Lee hits a wide open Toliver over the middle of the field on that pick 6, LSU more than likely goes on to a 21-7 lead and game over.

He also hit a reciever (dunno which one) in the hands down the right hash for what would have been a 50+ yard TD because our corner was badly beaten...only to see him drop it.

I didn't say that Bama's offense beat LSU's...I was just critical of the play calling by the LSU staff, especially the pick in the endzone in OT. 3rd and long and instead of a run or safe screen and settle for a FG, you call a chunk to the endzone?

Our FG kickers confidence was KILLED....IMO, all you needed was a FG, then the pressure is on us.

Right, the reason I asked was a few weeks back the Randle camp mentioned receivers coach being a factor and I wondered who you had at receivers coach as Bama's website wasn't clear.

Funny you say that...Remind me how last years game ended in Ttown...

IF JPW doesn't fumble the ball inside the 5 (and he did this in 2 games), we beat you and you dont play for the MNC.

Bama's QB situation last year gave you a MNC.

    There, that's fair, right?

LSU played so poorly on both sides of the ball in that game that it was downright disgraceful to Bama that they didn't beat the Tigers. I wouldn't use that game as a yardstick for pretty much anything except maybe luck and perseverance.

You may want to take a look at the box score...Bama was only +1 in TO's and LSU had about 200 more yards of total offense. LSU BEAT us on the field and sqeaked by.

It's downright discraceful how the "National Champions" played that game.

Luck...That was the headline of your season last year.

Funny whenever LSU loses, it's always because LSU played poorly or the QB sucks, the other team has nothing to do with it. :rolleye33:
