Y'all can talk QBs all you want. Bottom line on Randle:

He'll always be second fiddle there (Ala)- in the press and, in the hearts of the fans.

He'll always be the second progression behind Julio Jones who is a homegrown Heismann candidate, who will get the lions share of promo.

Julio Jones Heismann acceptance speech: " I'd like to thank coach Saban and my teammates-especially Ruben Randle... I'm returning my senior year because I want to help bring Bama an NC.That's why I came here in the first place."

No one is saying "light it up" just to start passing a little more.

What an uninformed and really dumb statement. A talent like R.Randle is very needed and would be loved by the fans, just like every other team he could play for.

I'm not the only one that has that opinion. As for calling it dumb and uninformed, you should resist the temptation to disseminate ad hominem rhetoric- it does not produce the result that you think it does.

Here is a quote from C. Bumphis about his talk with Saban and Bama's plans in the air.

BL: What do you like about Alabama?
CB: I just like it a lot. Coach (Nick) Saban was at my house (Tuesday) night, and we talked for a while. He and my mom talked about different things. I like the sitaution. They’re winning, and everything’s going good, and I feel like I can play pretty early there, too. I never really saw anybody just play in the slot. Coach Saban and Coach (Curt) Cignetti – he’s the wide receivers coach – they were at my house last night talking about what they want to run, how they weren’t able to run it this year because they didn’t have any slot receivers that could make big plays.

AS I have been saying. Alabama will begin to open the playbook more and more each year. More passing starting next year.

I find it odd that the receivers coach was a QB coach before. Has he ever been a receivers coach before going to Bama?
