Re: Rueben Randle Just think about this...JPW has better numbers than all of those you mentioned. And to answer your question...yes.
Re: Rueben Randle As for the numbers-thing, I imagine you know that is relative to the time. For example, one of the all-time SEC greats at QB, LSU's Y.A. Tittle, only threw for 780 yards and 13 touchdowns in 1946. But that is interesting that you think AJ McCarron has a shot being as great as Namath, Starr, and Stabler. He is a 4-star, an Elite 11 selection, and his ESPN scouting evaluation says "He is a guy that ... could be outstanding." http://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/recr...ng/tracker/player?recruitId=55040&season=2009 He looked great when he threw that TD pass against Auburn at the end of the game.
Re: Rueben Randle AJ is absolutely tearing it up in the AL/MS game right now. That's what happens when you have an o-line.
Re: Rueben Randle Lee will be a pretty darn good QB after it is all said and done. But the numbers game will get to Lee tho. Going into next year season, Lee will be third string QB. No. 1 will be Jefferson, no. 2 will be Hatch. It all depends on if Coach Miles wants to red shirt Shepard, if Shepard don't get red shirted at mid season Shepard will pass Hatch as the no. 2 QB. I wish Coach Miles would run a few option plays like Georgia Tech runs with Shepard at QB. Let Hatch back up Jefferson and Shepard. If Jefferson needs a break put Hatch in, then if Shepard needs a break, put Hatch in for him too.
Re: Rueben Randle Greg McElroy. He threw a gorgeous 35 yard TD pass to Maze with 3 minutes left in the game.
Re: Rueben Randle "If Rueben had been there opposite Julio the other night, we would have won that game", a line from $$$$$. His visit was bookended by LSU visits. Funny though, Superman won that game....
Re: Rueben Randle One pass in mop up doesn't mean anything. Jarrett Lee has thrown some beuatiful passes this year. It's a whole new ballgame when your'e taking the majority of the snaps.
