I don't know about that one because if he learns the playbook watch out.

Randle is a completely different animal than Toliver. Toliver was (and still is) really, really raw and had to basically learn the position and put on weight before seeing the field..he was a 5 star mostly on his potential.

Reuben is ready to get out there and do what AJ Greene is doing. He'll be on the field immediately wherever he goes.

Benton and Randle are something to watch out for with Benton being the physical WR.

Both Benton and Randle are pretty rare talents. Game changers that can make an impact immediately.

Randle should see the field as a true freshman.

:geaux::crystal::helmet: So what is the absolute latest on Benton? Haven't seen anything lately. Last I saw was that he was possibly going to enroll early. I would hope that's true, since that would mean his grades are in order. Anyone got "the skinny" on this topic? Also, wouldn't it be awesome to have Benton, Randle, and Tolliver all on the field at the same time! That's not even taking in to account K. Bell and C. Tolliver. That would be a nightmare for opposing DC's, assuming we've got a QB to get them the ball consistently. Shep, we need ya! :geauxtige:champs::LSU231:

Bradshaw seems to think he'll make it for sure this time..if he does he'll enroll in January.

We'll have to wait and see though..I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch because he hasnt' made it the last two years. I hope he does though, for his sake if nothing else

:geaux::crystal::helmet: Agreed. I hope he makes it. Good things happen to those who stick with it. Remember Chad Lavalais? Took him about two years to qualify and it really worked out well for him. We all need to keep the faith. :geauxtige:champs::LSU231:

5 Wide(take your pick) with Shep back there is nasty.... the amount of plays you can run is unlimited and can even do the Skyler sweep or have Trindon in the slot(if he plays) and sometimes motion him in the backfield and run the option, playaction or just send him down the field.

The way we have WRs we can sub out to stay fresh like teams do Defensive Lines. LOL

    Re: Rueben Randle

That negative visit stuff was all rumor. They thought he was complaining about the amount of time he had to wait, but he wasn't necessarily complaining like it was LSU's fault. He's smarter than that.

From what I was told, LSU did everything it needed to do to convince him. If it doesn't work, he really was deadset on going elsewhere. If he does go elsewhere, LSU should know there was nothing more they could do (legally) to land him.

He was a little concerned with Shep as the QB of the future running too much on designed pass plays if protection broke down. Meaning instead of creating room to throw with his feet, just taking off and running for it. I think Shep assured him that running would be his last option if it wasn't by design.

And to earlier posters, he won't sit on anyone's depth chart. That doesn't necessarily mean he'll be option 1 (but is there really an option 1 in the spread). Barring injury, there won't be a redshirt year for this one...
