It would take a lot more than that to ruin the relationship. We'll be talking about Jevante Watson this time next year, and he's almost certain to LSU if he gets offered. But it was a messed up situation and honestly, I don't blame LSU. If it comes down to a choice, it's an easy choice. It's just messed up that it had to come to a choice... Like it or not, losing DLo is not as big a blow THIS YEAR as losing Rueben. I don't blame LSU for not wanting to lose the #1 guy THIS YEAR. There are a lot of pissed off people in Bastrop...and they're not pissed with LSU...well, maybe a little, but nothign compared to who they're really pissed with. In hindsight, I'm glad DLo had options.
But can he ban his players from seeing LSU??? I think it would be good for everyone to take a deep breath, sit back, and relax. No need to speculate on this when something will surely come out that is based on (the horror) facts.
What is the relationship between Benton and Randle like? Do they not like each other, or they pals? No relationship at all? If I'm not mistaken they were teammates at one point, right?
That really pisses me off if Benton didn't sign with LSU because of RR's dad. I'm not jumping to conclusions here but something is fishy. Do you have any idea what exactly transpired? I've heard that Benton and Randle weren't great friends, this was from his brother's mouth. He didn't say they didn't care for each other, just not big friends like a lot of people think.
RR's coach said he thinks RR will make his decision today at the ceremony supposedly at 12:30. As far as he knows anyway.
They're friends I guess. They don't dislike each other. But how many seniors in your school were big buddies with a sophomore? Even though they're close in age, they're not really peers. That's what gets lost on people who question they're friendship. DLo was much better friends with Aaron, but they were only a year apart.
