Who would of thought with all these schools that run the spread where there are plenty of balls to go around that we would be the school with all this depth and talent at receiver. No matter what happens today I will have plenty of confidense in whoever we have lining up at WR.
Coach Bradshaw I think could scare anyone into going/doing whatever he wanted, same could be said for Coach Barton. I think he follows what Coach Bradshaw thinks would be best for him. He has been in RR's nightmares for the past 4 years. :lol:
so is RR's dad scared of Lafell? Tolliver or Toliver? Benton? If this kid is the truth he should have no problem right, a good healthy competition would be good for any kid, and help him prepare for what RR's dad really wants and thats an NFL contract.
:geaux: I think Stoops just got into RR's Dad's head during the process and that's where Dad wants him to go. From everything posted RR is not scared of the competion and welcomes it. Dad may be using the competion/depth thing as a smokescreen because there's competion at any major program. He'd have to earn a spot at OU or wherever. Dad just likes OU, IMO. :LSU231:
Remember that OU recently lost a few WR recruits and Stoops is desperate. No telling what last minute tricks he's pulling. If what is being reported is true, it sounds like Ruebens dad might be grasping at straws with yesterdays little media stunt.
It doesn't matter what Randle's dad thinks. If Randle himself doesn't think he can compete with the other receivers here, then he's not the top receiver in the country and he's never going to be. We'll know what he thinks if he signs.
